As you have probably noticed for quite a while now, I've not been taking on any new portrait sessions... It's because I've been trying to tie up all loose ends of previous sessions and business matters. Due to my perfectionist nature it takes me longer then most other photographers to proof images, not to mention I take entirely WAAAY tooooo many images in the first place. I can't help it though, I LOVE to take pictures and ALWAYS will.
I have much news coming soon... Just not enough time to type it all out at the moment. My goal is to get caught up completely on the proofing, ordering, and delivering of portraits over Spring Break. So if you are waiting on me to finish your proofs, slideshow, proof magazine, or portrait order - I truly appreciate your patience as I'm trying desperately to get caught up. Many things have happened in my business and personal life in the last couple months that will lead to many changes and the news to come.

She's a senior at LCHS and has quite a few 'loves' in her life as you will see... mom.boyfriend.puppy.shoes. I absolutely loved this session with Britt, we did so many fun and funky things that her individuality really shines through. Completely darling.

This beautiful portrait of a Mother and her Daughter inspired me to host a new contest....
So many times, us the Mommies are not in the Holiday pictures because we are too busy taking the pictures! So if you would LOVE to have a studio portrait like this of you with your child or children then you have to participate in this contest! I want to see those adorable children of yours in front of your Christmas tree holding a sign that says, "Pick My Mom!!!". Also, in the spirit of Thanksgiving please include a sentence or two of why you would be thankful to receive this studio portrait session, the winner will be the one that tugs at my heartstrings and follows the directions. So hurry and put those trees up if you haven't already and get to snapping a picture - the deadline to get your pictures in is: 12noon on Friday December 5th. I of course LOVE the colors Lisa chose for her family portraits! (red & aqua) Aren't they so bright and fun!? I had a blast with this lovely family, and I'm proud to say all the guys did so well - even if they aren't keen on being photographed. I hope your family adores these images as much as I do!
He's a senior at LCHS and quite the musician from what I've heard. I've also learned that his style is called : emo. I wasn't sure what that meant, so here is the meaning I found online:
"emo style is to wear tight pants, and a striped shirt; possibly with a sad expression on your half hidden face because of your dyed black bangs. you may also have quite a few piercings, such as your lip, septum, tongue, and eyebrow. allot of eye makeup is usually worn."
Not sure about the piercings or eye makeup, but Jordan does have a really awesome tattoo that has very special meaning to him. I wish you all the best with your music!
She's a senior at LCHS and just sweet as can be with a sassy style. Not to mention, she's in tune with her spiritual side - love that about her! Check out how her eyes change colors and her hair changes styles - that's variety...
She's a senior at SPHS and she loves to text ( haha, inside joke!) Seriously though, Madi and her younger sister had me laughing the entire session with their funny faces... Now check out their PRETTY faces!
